Marcel Pusey is a composer, producer, bassist, designer and educator. His production company takes him around the world, writing music for multimedia, education and television programmes.
Bassistry, the self-titled debut album, established Marcel as a composer/bass player in London. The Jazz Groove album has allowed him to work with some of London's best musicians.
Marcel established Bassistry Arts in 1994. The company produces innovative music programmes utilising professional players in schools. The company won the Shell Livewire Award for outstanding enterprise in the same year. It now operates throughout the UK, Hong Kong, Thailand and Australia.
Marcel is also director of O-Music. This part of the company was established in 2001 after Marcel teamed up with Mark Welland. They co- designed and produced 'O-Generator', a unique educational music software.
Bassistry Music Production has teamed up with the label/venue, High-Barn to produce a new album: "In Time". As well as producing the music, they're establishing a night called "Sounds from the City" at High-Barn, bringing some of London's finest players to this unique venue.
